Low pressure impregnation plants
For treatment of construction timber and joinery wood for windows and doors with organic solvent based or water-emulsion preservatives free form heavy metals.
Pilot plants for impregnation, wood modification and drying
IWT/Moldrup offers pilot plants in many sizes and designs for standard impregnation processes, for extremely high pressure applications, in stainless steel, for wood modification under vacuum and pressure with liquids, vapours and air mixtures as well as for drying under vacuum and/or pressure.
ROYAL TREATMENT WITH LINSEED OIL
Plant and process for treatment of already impregnated wood with linseed oil in a process which dries down the freshly impregnated wood within a matter of hours instead of days, and at the same time penetrates the surface of the wood with a linseed oil for gtreatly improved protection against water-uptake with either the colour of the impregnation preservative or pigments for red, yellow, brown and gray shades.
The standard turn-key Royal plant has a capacity of 10 - 12 m3 per cycle and up to 30 - 36 m3 in 24 hours.
The Royal treatment is normally for impregnated scots pine and not applicable on spruce due to the low uptake of the impregnation preservative. IWT-Moldrup is reintroducing the Rotatreat version of Royal treatment for even quicker drying and for Royal treatment on spruce and similar refractory species.
