Superheated Steam Vacuum drying (SSV) started industrially with the introduction of the Moldrup vacuum dryers in 1986. Developed by Steen Moldrup in the 80’ the process has gained world-wide recognition as the superior process for gentle drying of hardwoods and speed drying of softwoods.
Moldrup offers 3 basic models
- Moldrup dryer for drying of high quality hardwoods with capacities from 20 to 80 m3 per charge. 5 times quicker than conventional drying.
- MS dryer for drying of difficult species such as oak. Superior process control at relatively low temperatures makes it possible to dry difficult species even from green. Capacities from 20 m3 to 40 m3 per charge.
- BH dryer for quick drying of softwood. Attractive prices. Turn-key and complete delivery. Just connect electricity and the dryer runs. Capacities from 10 m3 to 30 m3 per charge.
